Thursday, March 11 – At Sea – Caribbean – mid 80F – Partly Cloudy

Another beautiful day at sea – the Caribbean is smooth under sunny and warm skies

Sea Day - March 11 (Small)

We have also started having breakfast in the Solarium’s Aqua Spa mini-restaurant.  The menu is totally healthy – egg white omelets, gourmet muffins, tropic marmalades, and oatmeal.  Our plan is to alternate between the buffet and the Aqua Spa.

Another sea day means some more relaxing time in the Solarium or out on the open decks.

I spent some of the day tuning up my talks.  The talk today is “The Science of CSI” and scheduled for 3:00 PM in Celebrity Central.  Again, the second talk is the most important in determining whether these presentations will have a loyal audience.

The talk went well – attendance about 200 (just a few empty seats on the right side of the theater).

After dinner in the Silhouette Dining Room, we took in the headliner show in the Equinox Theater – Fiddler Doug Cameron has rejoined the ship.  His show is a little different this time around but he is still accompanied by the great Bel Canto String Quartet (by the way, there are our neighbors in the crew quarters).  Still, I really liked the “Fiddler on the Roof” suite and the string quartet really gets into the music.

Another relaxing sea day…
