Breakfast in the Buffet – waffles and blintzes and, of course, oatmeal. The Atlantic continues to be calm – there is no movement of the ship at all.
Sea Day – Calm Seas
Some reading, some lounging, listening to tunes took up the very relaxing morning. Lunch in the Ocean View Cafe (tuna sandwiches, pasta, a little salad).
Talk number 2 - “The Science of CSI” – is scheduled for 3:00 PM in Celebrity Central. The second talk is always important to see whether the talks have “legs”. I am a little concerned about this talk since it has new sections (especially the new DNA section). At 2:40, the place had about 25 people but at show time, the place was totally packed with extra chairs brought it – maybe 250 attendees.
The talk went well – the Q and A was a bit problematic since people leave right away for other activities so people with questions have a difficult time stating their questions.
Feedback from passengers has been positive.
Ate dinner on the back deck – very nice.
The show tonight featured Doug Cameron, a very good fiddler – did a medley from Fiddler on the Roof, some Celtic Stuff. Very good and he had the ship’s Bel Canto String Quarter playing alongside. Very entertaining.
Some lounge music with Max.
