Monday, February 20, 2017–At Sea–Pacific Ocean–Mostly Cloudy–60s

Another cool day at sea.

My final talk - "Forensic Detectives:  Identifying the Famous and Infamous" - drew a near full house.  The lecture series on this first leg of our double cruise has been very successful.  Not only in terms of audiences but also because there were no technical glitches with my new PC and HDMI adapters.

It is warm enough in the afternoon to spend some time on the open deck and, of course, to take another iconic picture.

Iconic Again

After dinner, we took in the final show of the cruise - Variety Showtime – Roy and Rosemary and Colleen Williamson.
Roy and Rosemary (never seen them before) are a piano/violin duo.  Normally, we do not go to these kinds of shows but they turned out to be very entertaining.  First of all, Roy is about a foot and a half taller than Rosemary.  Roy also sings pretty well and Rosemary does a very fine job on her violin.  The big treat of the night was their version of "Hallelujah".  No cruise is complete without someone doing the Leonard Cohen classic.

I was not able to get any pictures of Colleen Williamson (the lights just washed her out).  But she did her usual great show.  She is staying on so we will be able to catch another of her shows.

Tomorrow, San Diego.
