Saturday, May 21, 2011 – Baltic Sea – Sunny – 61F

A beautiful day at sea…

Sea Day 5-21 (Small) Sea Day 5-21 boats (Small)

Had a chance to sleep in a bit today (at least until 7 AM).

We decided to join Clodagh for her walk a mile at 9:00 AM.  It was a bit cold outside but the walk was good.

I attended the talk “Garden of the Czars” at 11:00 AM.

After lunch, I joined up with the same people to try my hand at International Trivia – not so successful today.

The talk today, “Secrets of the Royal Families” was pretty well attended (230 plus people) and a bit better engaged (not easy in the theater).

The headliner tonight was Mike Doyle, a comedian and singer from Wales.  While he spent most of the show on the comedy side (and he was a total hoot), he is also a great singer (including opera).  The crowd loved him and he continued the long line of great entertainment acts on board these cruises.

Mike Doyle is good friends with Lynn McKay, who also attended my talk today with her Mum.  We caught a little of Lynn before the crowd noise in the Schooner Bar became overwhelming.

Seas are smooth…
