Distance from Roatan to Ft. Lauderdale: 822 Nautical Miles
Total Trip: 2,104 Nautical Miles
Breakfast in a very crowded Ocean View Cafe.
All of our stuff is either on hangers or in locked suitcases (including my computer) in Room 3519. Our Steward will move everything for us to 3521 once the room is cleaned.
The Re-Embarkation went a little faster this time although we did wait about 30 minutes for all of the regular passengers to clear immigration before we went through.
The Ocean View Cafe was originally supposed to open at 11:00 AM but it was delayed first to 11:30 and then finally opened at Noon. This meant that the Cafe was wall to wall passengers since everyone went at the same time. We ate quickly and headed to the Sky Lounge.
Cabin 3521 – Our New Home
Our new keys worked and our clothes were in 3521 so that part worked out as planned.
The remainder of the day was spent reading in a number of venues and taking in a little of “Top Notch” in the Grand Foyer”
We did not take in the Welcome Aboard Show.
Our neighbor, the other speaker, Nancy Howland Walker (Improv Comedy) chatted with her room mate until 11:00 PM and was quiet the rest of the night. No ear plugs needed.
It was a bumpy (windy) night.
Voyage 3 is underway.
