A welcome sea day.
The ocean is a bit testy this morning.
I have my first morning talk today at 11:30 AM – “Identifying America’s Fallen Heroes”. This is the 10th talk in my 11 session series. The audience has remained pretty consistent – between 500 and 600 attendees. The AV guys were a little late showing up but the talk started on time and lasted only 37 minutes including the Captain’s Noon Update. Not sure how it ended so soon as I was not rushing.
Because of the scheduling of the talk, we have the rest of the day to ourselves.
It was too windy on the open decks so after our usual lunch, we got loungers up in the Lotus Pool. I also got my fourth massage demo from the spa folks so I might have a full massage by now. I finished “Make Me” (a little disappointed in the ending but I did like Reacher’s new temporary partner). I also wanted a little more hand to hand fighting that Reacher is known for. Am now reading, Casey Hill’s, “CSI Reilly Steel - Trace” (Book 5 in the series). I started this book a while but basically forgot everything about it so I started over – it’s slow and I am not a big fan of the narration and dialogue so this book may not get finished.
Showtime tonight was a new production show – “I Got the Music”, the songs of various artists such as Cher, Barbra Streisand, and Neil Diamond. I had a screaming millennial next to me in the front row (the only screamer in the theater) who had to acknowledge the end of every number with her Black Canary Cry. Literally, her scream was ear piercing. The show itself was too loud so next time, we might take a pass.
We listened to Arny for a bit before going to the room early.
The clocks move back an hour tonight to put us on Montevideo time.
