Another terrific day on the Pacific Ocean…
It was such a nice day, we had two breakfasts this morning. The real one early in the day and another little snack (herring for me – I can’t deal with herring first thing) out on the back deck. No wind and bright sunshine.
Breakfast Number 2 – Back Deck
I didn’t have as much time to relax this morning because the next talk - “Life and Death of Pharaohs” was at 1:30 PM in the Theater. The attendance remained constant and the talk came off well – I was concerned that all of the DNA numbers would not be visible on the theater screens but it all worked out fine. I also thought that perhaps the talk was too technical (all those STRs) but I asked a few of the attendees later in the day what they thought and they said it was clear and interesting.
Tonight’s Show is a combo show – encored performances by Gossamer Magic and Lelani Marrell (I wonder if Troy Thirdgill’s missing the ship changed the show schedule).
When we got back to the room after the show and lounge time, we found an envelope on our door containing the following invitation:
Sounded great but I wonder how big the Captain’s Table is and how often does the Captain hold these. We will find out tomorrow. Ellen checked with the Dining Room and they will loan me a jacket for tomorrow’s dinner.
Big day tomorrow in Puerto Vallarta – haven’t been here since the mid 1980s.
