Had to move a little quicker with breakfast this morning since all passengers have to do a face to face with Immigration (CBP) this morning at 9 AM. Our session in the Sky Lounge was very quick.
We are parked next to the Crown Princess.
We were going to get off here and
walk over to the nearby Park and Little Italy but wound up staying on board
(the ship was empty and relatively quiet).
Lunch was on the back deck – tuna and egg salad, pizza, the usual but still tasty. From the ship, we could see the entire bay
including the jets coming and
going (mostly Southwest jets) at SAN.
That’s free entertainment. Look closely in the photo below - a plane is landing.
We had another nice dinner in the Oceanview Cafe. This time, I tried the Stir Fry Station and instead of noodles I had the rice with soy and teriyaki sauce. Delicious. We passed on the hyper loud “Rock City” and instead found comfortable seats on Deck 5 starboard forward. We had to bundle up a bit but the quiet was worth it.
Both the Crown Princess
and San Diego looked great at night.
A chat with Guest Relations provided us with information on how the turnaround will work tomorrow. We are going to be in the same cabin – good and no so good news, I guess. I also found out from Charlotte that there will be a whole new set of passengers - a very small percentage are continuing on.
When it got too chilly outside, we retreated to the Foyer and took in a little bit of Vesselets.
It's always nice when you are a continuing passenger. No packing. No worries.
