Another pretty quiet night. I went down and got the same breakfast – corn flakes and a freshly made waffle. It was still good the second time. I did have a unusual problem this morning. While eating at an outside table – to distance myself from other folks – one of the legs of my chair got stuck in the pool deck drain (as I tried to move my chair a bit closer to the table). The leg collapsed and I went down like a ton of bricks – I landed on my hand and side but I was able to get back up by myself and finish breakfast. No one came over to help but one guy did ask me if I was OK. Back in the room, I found that I did not land that gracefully displaying scrapes on my left side and left arm. I put some Neosporin on it but the area is red and tender.
We decided to visit the Cemetery –
Home of Peace – where most of the family is buried. It’s usually a long ride from the Hollywood
area but from Alhambra, it is just 15 minutes away via the streets. We
found all of the headstones (including Trude's) and I said Kaddish and El Molay Rahamim and we placed
some stones on the headstones.
We had leftovers for lunch in the
room and then got ready to go to Noah’s place for Shabbat Dinner.
