Grand Cayman Island from the Ship

We are an anchor today and the tenders started running early.

We are not planning to get off the ship today – so this will be a sea day on board.  This beautiful ship almost to ourselves.  Also, a beautiful verandah and a fridge stocked with beer and bubbly water.  Why leave?  Besides, we were here just recently and I purchased a Grand Cayman cap at a mini-bodega for a great price so my mission is complete.

Also here today is our friend, the NCL Pearl.

Whenever I encounter the Pearl I always recall the incredibly loud whine of the bow thrusters – have not seen any other ship with such ear splitting thrusters.

Tried a lot of things today at breakfast – Oatmeal, veggie omelet, waffle with cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, and cinnamon roll. Only really ate the waffle and scrambled eggs and the cinnamon roll.  Just checking out my options for the mornings ahead.

The day consisted of balcony time (when not facing the sun), deck time in the shade (reading).  A peaceful easy feeling.

Dinner in the Dining Room was very good.

We sent to see Tony Daro, a comedian at 8:30 PM in the Theater.  Pretty funny guy who we have seen before.  I never miss a comedian on board.

Nice day “At Sea”
