It is getting cooler as we get further north – still pleasant but only about 70F today.
My second to last presentation - The Whitechapel Murders – is early today and scheduled for 9:30 AM. It is another nearly full theater despite the early morning slot. I keep making changes to this talk and it is almost where I want it – what would help would be some follow up data from the latest DNA work on this case.
An afternoon of reading and relaxing on the open deck make up most of the daylight hours. I have done – for me – a lot of reading on this cruise having finished “The Hard Way” (Jack Reacher), “Lost Light” (Harry Bosch), and The “Loch Ness Legacy” (Tyler Locke) by Boyd Morrison. The Loch Ness Legacy had some interesting characters including a tough female Jewish spy but the story line was a bit too out there.
Sea Day = Bistro Dinner – tonight I had a special treat – not only their terrific pizza but also Halibut and Fettuccini Alfredo from the restaurant menu. The fish was perfect.
The early evening was topped off by a glorious sunset.
Tonight the Singers and Dancers put on their final production show –“Shake Rattle and Roll”. Lots of fine dancing and singing. Enjoyable.
Post show, we went up to the Pacific Lounge to listen to the Domino Duo. Mostly soft music perfect for late night. There’s just the two of them but she can sing and he has a good synthesizer.
