Tuesday, May 5, 2015 – At Sea – Pacific Ocean – Sunny – 86F

Cinco de Mayo and a perfect day at sea – The Pacific Ocean was like a lake

The “Mystery of the Romanovs” ran a little late but nobody left.  The Cabaret Theater attendance was estimated to be about 250 passengers.

The Panorama Buffet – in the spirit of Cinco de Mayo – provided a Mexican Buffet for lunch.  On the menu were vegetarian refried beans, great guacamole and salsa plus churros for dessert.  Very good.

The afternoon was spent out on the open deck reading and maybe snoozing.

Since we are at sea, dinner tonight was in the Bistro.  Featured was a special mushroom truffle pizza, which was the best pizza offered so far on this cruise.  We also had the Fettuccini Alfredo from the restaurant and tried the red snapper.  Key Lime pie for dessert rounded out an excellent dinner.

The Headliner tonight was Michael Minor.  His act was very different from the usual shows – he was a combination singer, ventriloquist, and comedian – young and good.

On such a beautiful night in the Pacific, I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the full moon from the deck.
