Finally, a beautiful day in Southwest Florida.
After breakfast, we explored the area around the hotel. When I checked out this hotel, the information indicated that there was nearby shopping. That was true but the shopping center was pretty much nothing – a hardware store and a few restaurants.
I went down to the pro shop and was told they would loan me some clubs so I could hit the practice tees. Considering the fact that I hadn’t picked up a club since the end of September, I was able to get about 50 percent of the balls into the air. The clubs were crummy and the balls worn out (those excuses are good ones), the biggest problem was that I didn’t have a golf glove. I quit when a blister started to form on my left hand. Still, the sequence below shows pretty decent form if not results.
Bottom Right: Did you see that shot?
The entire day was spent either in the room or on our balcony.
The tuna was great was lunch (along with hummus and pita chips that we brought from home). Dinner consisted of leftover flatbread (the cheese was really too much so little was eaten). No one went hungry.
The entertainment for the evening consisted, once again, of the Karaoke warblers. Some were good and some were in pain. But, they quit right on time at 11:00 PM.
